1 min readFire Fighting and Rescue Demonstrations were held at different places of the Steel Township targeting different target populations to mark the ongoing Fire Services Week.
Mass Public awareness was conducted at VIP Market, Sector – 5 on 16th April. People were informed about various fire fighting and rescue techniques as well as the use and application of different fire fighting equipments through practical
demonstrations. Around 100 shoppers and visitors witnessed the event with great interest and inquisitiveness.
Mr. J B Pattnaik, GM (Fire Services) led the Fire Fighting and Rescue Demonstration team of Fire Services Department and conducted the programmes. The events were coordinated by Mr. Subhabrata Sahoo, Assistant Manger (Fire Services).
