Chakradharpur Division Ensures Smooth, Safe, and Comfortable Travel During Festive Season

During this festive season of Diwali and Chhath, Chakradharpur Division has made extensive preparations to ensure the safety, comfort, and convenience of passengers. Special arrangements have been made at stations to manage train operations and control crowds efficiently.

For the assistance of passengers, help desks, information centers, additional ticket checking staff, barricading arrangements, and dedicated deployment of RPF/GRP personnel for crowd management have been arranged. Apart from these, special attention has been given to cleanliness and other passenger amenities at stations.

This year, over 12,000 special trains are being operated during Diwali and Chhath, compared to 7,724 last year, reflecting Indian Railways’ commitment to facilitating smooth festive travel. At major stations in the Chakradharpur Division extensive preparations have been completed, with monitoring conducted at WAR Rooms at the divisional level.

Passengers’ complaints and assistance requirements are being monitored in real-time through Rail Madad, Twitter, and other channels. Officers and staff of the division are continuously overseeing arrangements to ensure passengers have a safe, secure, and hassle-free journey.
