NPS-21 Celebrates World Ozone Day in collaboration with REGIONAL OFFICE, SPCB, ROURKELA

Event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the ozone layer and promoting climate action. The day commenced with a melodious environment song performed by the school choir, setting the tone for the occasion. The Vice President, Secretary and the Principal of the school addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the day. Renowned environmentalist and Regional Officer of State Pollution Control Board, Dr. Anup Kumar Mallick, delivered a thought-provoking speech, inspiring the students to take action towards environmental conservation. Students from standards 9 to 12 also presented speeches in front of around 500 students, showcasing their knowledge and passion for the cause.

Deputy Environment Engineer of SPCB, Dr. Vijay Ku. Bhoi addressed the gathering, providing valuable insights into the efforts being made to protect the ozone layer. The Academic Incharge concluded the event with closing remarks, appreciating the efforts of all involved.

Mementos and Certificates were distributed to the students who delivered speeches. The Vice Principal extended a vote of thanks, bringing the event to a close. The celebration was a huge success, instilling a sense of responsibility among the students to protect the environment and preserve the ozone layer.
