Social Work by Lions Club of Sambalpur Silks

The Lions Club of Sambalpur Silks continues its unwavering commitment to enhancing children’s education, extending its support beyond its longstanding scholarship program initiated in 2005-06. On April 12, 2024, the club generously donated four desks to the U.P. School in Ashapali, situated opposite the DIG office in Sambalpur.

This noble gesture was carried out in the presence of esteemed individuals, including President Lion Kushprit Hura, Secretary Lion Radhika Poddar, GLT-D Coordinator & Club Service Chairperson Lion Charanjit Kaur Hura, and President (E) Lion Meenaxi Agarwal & school staff. This act of kindness follows the club’s earlier contributions this Lionistic year 2023-24, which included providing desk for students and tables for teachers at a school in Jhujhumura.
