India Railways made special arrangements during summer for commuters

In the scorching summer months, Railways is committed to ensure the well-being of its travellers.

Thousands of people commute from far-off places for work on a daily basis. Railways is dedicated to contribute to welfare and comfort of its passengers, thereby ensuring that economy is unaffected even in adverse weather conditions. In summer season, drinking water availability is a burning issue. Railways has been prompt and active for ensuring proper hydration of passengers.

In addition to installing water tanks and coolers at various station platforms under South Eastern Railway, it has collaborated with Scouts and Guides to provide cold drinking water to the onboard passengers as well as to those at station premises.
