Mellifluous performance enthralls audience in Vedvyas Sangeet Nrutyotsav

The mega cultural event Vedvyas Sangeet Nrutyotsav being organized by Bhanja Kala Kendra at the Bhanja Bhawan evoked enthusiastic response from the audience on the second  evening. Mr. Subrat Tarai, Hon’ble MLA, Raghunathpalli graced the evening as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the programme.

The cultural programme commenced with a ‘Guitar Concert’ by the artists of Bhanja Kala Kendra under the direction of Guru Dr. Anil Kumar Dutta. A riveting Kathak dance performance by internationally acclaimed Kathak exponent Guru Ashim Bandhu Bhattacharjee and his troupe from Koklata, a scintillating Gotipua Dance performance by ‘Abhinna Sundar Gotipua Nrutya Parishad’ led by Guru Laxman Moharana and his troupe from Raghurajpur and popular Sambapuri Folk Dance led by ‘Sangeet Parishad’ led by Guru Rajesh Gurla from Padmapur  enthralled the audience.

It is noteworthy that internationally acclaimed artistes from different parts of India are presenting their performance in the 5- the day long extravaganza of Classical dance and music. Notably, the programme is being organised with the support of Bhanja Cultural Trust under the guidance of Mr. Tarun Mishra, President, Bhanja Cultural Trust & ED (P&A), RSP.

Mr. Subha Shankar Raychoudhury, CGM, RMHP & President, Bhanja Kala Kendra welcomed the gathering and Mr. Radhakrushna Mohapatra, General Secretary, Bhanja Kala Kendra coordinated the inaugural ceremony.
