116th ACVO meet at SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant concludes

The 116^th ACVO (Additional Chief Vigilance Officers) meet of SAIL held at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) concluded on 12^th May. Mr. Vineet Pandey, Chief Vigilance Officer (SAIL) presided over the meeting. Present on the occasion were Mr. Sanjay Sharma, ED (Vigilance), Corporate Office, Mr. Abhai K Pandey, CGM (Vigilance), Corporate Office and ACVOs and Vigilance officers from various units of SAIL.  

As a mark of his visit the CVO planted a tree at IG Park along with Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, RSP and ED (Vigilance).  Mr. P K Swain, CGM (Town & CSR) and other Senior Officers were also present on the occasion. The visiting dignitaries also went to the doll museum and had a toy train ride.

Prior to the ACVO meet the CVO visited the Steel Plant and held an interaction session with the senior officers of RSP at the Manthan Conference Hall which was presided over by Mr. Atanu Bhowmick. The focus of the meeting was to put in place more robust systems in place to eliminate errors and discrepancies as well as awareness generation about the procedures.
